Riders of all levels are welcome to join this program as we’ll plan to split into groups based on ability and experience. We'll check out trails at places like Duthie Hill, Grand Ridge, Swan Creek. Most of the trails will only be 1 – 2 miles at most so beginners are welcome, while more proficient riders will have an opportunity to ride in groups on their own.

Wednesdays for Middle & High School Students
Thursdays for Elementary Students in 2nd-5th grades
Equipment: Bike with wheels at least 20” in diameter and tires with knobby tread. Hand brakes and gears required; front and/or rear suspension recommended but not required.
Skill and Endurance Level: Riders need to be proficient on a 2-wheel bike; able to ride distances of 2 – 3 miles at a time; comfortable riding downhill on dirt, mud, gravel, rocky, and bumpy surfaces; and capable of pedaling uphill for distances up to a mile and 500 feet in elevation.
After-School Pickup: Provided for Eckstein Middle School, Hamilton Middle School, Roosevelt High School, and Bryant Elementary School. All others meet at Wunderkind (3318 NE 55th St).
Cost: $900 for the full program (billed monthly at $225/month). By registering for Fall you are committing to the full program between September-December. By registering for Spring you are committing to the full program between March-June. No refunds or credits will be offered.
Let’s get more girls out on the trails to experience this fun type of biking! This program will focus on introductory trail riding around the region to build confidence and skills in riding bikes on dirt and bumpy surfaces. The girls will be able to support, motivate, and cheer each other on while exploring amazing parks and trails that the PNW region has to offer. We'll frequent places like Duthie Hill Mountain Bike Park, Grand Ridge, Soaring Eagle, and others.

All programs operate out of our facility in the Ravenna/Bryant neighborhood of Northeast Seattle (http://wunderkindseattle.com) at 3318 NE 55th Street, Seattle 98105.
For elementary after-school biking programs, parents/guardians can drop bikes and gear off at Wunderkind between 8-10am on the day of the program. Students at Bryant Elementary are welcome to lock their bikes up at the school to then bring with them after-school at pick-up.
We offer at-school bike pickup for Eckstein Middle School and Roosevelt High School students. Logistical details will be shared with participants upon registration.
